Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Okay with work life balance but it depends on which assignment u r tagged into.

Dislikes

No development whatsoever. Compensation are least. No monetary support like salary hike or bonus. No steps towards employees skill enhancements

Although they not provide you permanent job so no job security.

WFH, complete freedom to work from wherever you feel like, great leadership team and lot's to learn.

Dislikes

Most positions are contractual which at times demotivate employees resulting in higher attrition rates.
