No mobility between teams. Kind of stuck to same team forever. Pay is well . Tech stack can be legacy since most are legacy products Integrated with aquired products.

Conventional mindset of indian management.

Low pressure, great work life balance , great people, good compensation. Good benefits. I can really call this place my home.

Dislikes

Appraisal cycle and hikes. Company is not growing as a tech company should.

Likes

1. IT department is plus point to the organisation. 2. Quick ticket solving. 3. On-time salary. 4. Better technologies are used so good place to learn a new technology. 5. flexible working hours at starting and later it bent towards strictness(doesn't matter for me).

Dislikes

1. No or low hikes. 2. Manager's behaviour- They dont value candidate's opinion and on the other hand wants them to take their own decision. 3. More than 9 hours of work. 4. No appreciation for hard work. 5. Politics or blame game. 6. Bonus is rarely provided more than 30% in an year, which is a part of CTC.

Nothing except for the fact that it is a product based company

I had given an interview and went through all the rounds .In the final round they rejected me.I have answered each and every question correct in all the three rounds.They asked me the compensation expectation and they conducted an extra round for me just to reject .Please dont waste your time giving interview.simply waste they think they are Google or Amazon but don't even pay according to market standards .

No value for employees' life, or his dependents who rely on the salary of the employee, just bossy team managers, and selfish, long-stayed-in-one-place managers. They prioritize their own self-interest and job security, than teams growth or company growth. Such kind of foolish and micromanaging managers, with maximum insecurity. Being in the same company and same role for 15+ years narrowed their thinking, less receptive to external changes or industry trends. Self-centric behavior can manifest in low empathy. Spotlight their own achievements and downplay the others/team's contributions. This is your team and this is your culture...OpenText.
