Few of the processes are run by a group of people who came from similar organisation. They always dominate while talking decesion and put employee under tremendous pressure. They Target you and no matter how much hard work you do to impress them their mentality will not change. I have seen shouting them on employee during group meeting and huddles. However as an organisation the company is superb, you just need to be in right process and under right managers.
Previously Northern Trust was better. It offered employees WFH opportunity, appraisal and career growth.
Dislikes

Introduced one new team whose job is doing micro management.
Salary that is being offered is lesser than other MNC companies.
Efforts that a hard working employee put does not have any value, only the work load increases who works harder.
WFH facility that was being provided has now been removed, now the outsider people who were working here has no scope for visiting their family.
If you are thinking to jump company to company for your career growth you can join, otherwise it's not a company whom you should show your loyalty.
Salary and compensation is to low compared to competitor.. any concern raised to immediate manager is not even considered at priority... Corporate politics... Internal moment politics... Grievance are never addressed by divisional head's..
It's a company where your work will be recognised, your complaints will be heard and actioned upon, promotions will be given if you're deserving, if you don't like what you are doing then you will be guided to the team you are interested in.
...tes is a very toxic person for the team and tries to play politics within team.. Rest no complaints about anything as specific to the NT as it is very much employee centric company gives good pay, and you will have a work satisfaction and will really enjoy the work culture at NT😊
Nothing to dislike about the Northern Trust specifically but i had a bad luck that my manager Ganga was not very nice person not just to me but according to everyone's personal and professional experience with her was very bad.. As she seem a very toxic person to the team and i believe might become harmful for organization as well someday🥺
