The organisation has no culture at all.

...There are people sitting at leadership without adding any purpose to their work. They are like dormant volcanos just taking monthly salary and not adding anything worthy to the work

1)You get good exposure, management is very supportive, they teach you the skills required for the job and more 2)Best in services provided for employees like no other, insurance support, transport, cafeteria etc is the best in the market

Appraisal, increments are low, your salary will not match the competition if you stick around longer. But HR won't hesitate to pay as per the demands if you are joining from outside. So staying loyal is not reaping any benefits.

... . However if you have job offer from Nomura make sure to evaluate few things- -Medical benefits are great but salary is salary so negotiate hard and do not take first offer that the HRs hand out to you. The salary negotiators here like everywhere else are Chindi. -If you think you joined at low and would be able to come to par then 'No' it does not happen, I have been there so I know. -No matter how less your salary is management will keep on pilling up work on you knowing that all that work is getting done at 1/3rd of the price. - If you have got any loans etc liabilities then make sure you keep a sad song handy and keep on singing it every now and then in office because else they would assume you belong to a Rich business family and you are working just to keep yourself busy.. in short if you cry you get a good hike. - ED and above have very archaic mindset..you try giving them insight about what is happening in other peer banks and they will always shoot down your ideas saying they know everything. They have a very restrictive thinking and are never curious about new things.

Speaking from just the operations department perspective: • Below average pay • Disappointing bonus • Lack of positive leadership • More oriented towards finding faults in other's work rather than improvement • Poor software and sophisticated workflow • Lack of industry level awareness (besides senior management) as they tend to hire freshers • All talk no play. They love to take feedbacks but never try to introspect and try to implement • Management favours people with the ability to create unproductive politics rather than good decision making

Good Benefits. Such as insurance, annual health check up. Lots of leaves. Etc

Dislikes

Inequal pay scale. Some people with less experience earn more. The salary is not at par with other Investment Bank's compliance department.
