Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

Good and healthy environment, teammates are supportive, Company policies are good.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issue. Salary was not sufficient to survive and the job training is not given to new joinees.

For expatriates is good due to international wage scales but for local crew specially key personnel wage is half if u compare, this is the reason I want to leave Nitc .
