Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

NIT offers a great working environment and provides ample oppurtunities to even freshers to lead specific prjects. They even promote learning new skills thorugh various courses and guidance.

Dislikes

There is nothing to dislike, just that there can be some pressure to meet project deadlines which is more or less a good practice to maintain discipline.
