Honestly, working at national plastic feels like being in a prison. On the very 1st day, HR took my passport under the guise of paperwork, but a few days later, they pressured me into signing an undertaking stating that i was voluntarily submitting my passport to the company. when i initially refused, they told me it was just a formality, but it didn't feel that way at all. During SEDEX SMITA audits, they temporarily return passport to all employees who live in company accommodation to create the illusion of compliance, but as soon as the audit is over, they take them back. The entire practice feels like a violation of trust and freedom.

Dislikes

1. Passport with the company : It is extremely frustrating. 2. No salary slips provided by company: We don't receive salary slips, which makes it nearly impossible to track our earnings, deductions. This lack of documentation creates a lot of uncertainty. 3. Guaranty for annual leave: When it comes to taking annual leave, the process is even more frustrating someone has to provide a guarantee that i will return after my holiday, and if i don't the company deducts AED 6500 from the guarantor's account. this is an unreasonable and unfair burden to place on employees an their colleagues or friends. 4. No settlement before leave : if a employee goes on annual leave after two years, the company does not provide any settlement before departure which is against law. They hold the settlement payment untill the employee returns from holiday.
