Salary is good, but work pressure is very high. There is lots of inner politics going on. Personal growth and skill development will be basically based on under which Scientists you will get to work. Person interested in marine geological or chemical research will find it as good place to work.

What i find attractive interning at CSIR-NIO Goa is the positive work culture, everyone is friendly and ready to help, collaborate and support each other. Scientist are willing to share their experience support and encouraging us to push our limit.

The only thing that was unfavorable about CSIR NIO GOA was that you need to have a prebooking of 7 months for hostel accommodation.

Excellent work culture, supportive teammates and good experience

Dislikes

Institute should provide proper training skill before giving any responsibility eg. Swimming. As many time it includes sampling of water from deep ocean and provide overall security and train to use for the same. Also consider and inform about the probable Hazard.
