Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The college offers a conducive environment to the employees and there is a lot of scope for work life balance.Most employees in Muscat College have put up more than 8 years service which is proof that there is job security in Muscat College.A multicultural environment exists in the college and the teammates exhibit mutual cooperation one to one.Employees are trained through workshops and are provided opportunities for professional development.
