...ended due to work load. Working on Saturdays has to be optional and paid too. Salaries shall be offered considered experience too and not just based on previous package as many people had faced salary deduction due to covid pandemic and remained underpaid.

Work-life balance is the top priority of the organization. Though the salary slab is a little bit lower side as compared to the market, mental satisfaction is the highest. I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
