Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Millennium provides great opportunity for freshers/experienced professionals in power, and Mining industry. One can land up in any big MNC from here. The product portfolio (pump, blower, valves, dewatering system etc) of the company serve to many verticals in different industries.

Dislikes

Some irrational decisions which will never support employees.
