I worked in micron for 2 years. The perks/benefits are pretty much decent and i very much enjoyed working here and learned other new technologies like Azure and Scrum methodologies.

Dislikes

I have few dislikes about this organization. 1. Job security 2. They will completely cut off your variable pay if the the market is down and the VP pay itself 12% to 16% based on the exp.

...mazing WLB - Amazing Manager and Leads. (US and India) - The projects are great. - Excellent pay. - Work is hybrid but I enjoy more in office rather than home.

Nothing so far. It would be good to get some more food subsidy.

Worse incompetent managers, thrown by other companies and picked by micron. Senior management does not care about anyone. No skill assessment, they will interview on coding skills and won't give you any dev. Projects at all. If you have some work from homes they will make sure you can't take them. Disrespectful behaviour if you work with Singapore team and manager won't help you, they will scold you instead and ask you to keep working.

Free food, transportation and have good work life balance

Dislikes

If you are part of IT, your visibility is very less. No compensation revision last year and no annual bonus this year with layoffs. Also the Executives are creating environment for team members to leave the company. No great training platforms

Stock grants every year are average Diversity and Inclusion Good Gym facility

No Job Stability (Constant fear of layoffs, and salary cuts) No Work-Life Balance with constant and consistent late night meetings. Executive management don't want to build employee-centric company, want a Investor centric startup culture. Constant suspensions of hikes, bonuses, rewards, health benefits etc. Pathetic IT Equipments and IT Service, definitely require laptop changes every 6 months. Irresponsible, Unprofessional and Un-empathetic HR processes and team members. Most projects in India don't have future growth, or guideline. They didn't need to open India Operations, they followed the fad of opening Tech Center in India now they regret it. It's was a well established mature company with a veteran new CEO, but now the veteran has lost control to Investors and is now fostering a startup culture where you don't have work-life balance. Due to the future expansion Micron Financials are affected. So instead of Investors compromising, Micron made employees compromise forcefully with salary hike cuts, bonus suspension, rewards suspensions, and now finally job cuts. (They are trying to blindly follow Twitter under Elon, let's see how it plays out)
