Work culture + following its core value and when I left Michelin it's only because of my salary and looked for some growth in automobile sectors. Michelin is one of the best place to work in terms of work culture and work-life balance. I have worked in Michelin for 10 years and I didn't felt bad even one day and I was very happy and feeling very proud to be a part of the team. I have worked in Production, learning and development and supply chain management dept and the work culture is made in such a way that the respect for human is well maintained. To be honest if I get a opportunity to work again with Michelin I would just close my eyes and approve the order. People who is working in Michelin doesn't know about the value where as the people who have left the organisation would feel how good everyone have been treated in Michelin

Salary is very poor comparing to same post outside Michelin. For freshers it's not a good platform to grow where as for experienced people it might be a good choice. Apart from that I would say Michelin is one of the best company to work.

The good thing to do work in Michelin is job security and work life balance.

Dislikes

The grades I have given it is, as per michelin employee beacuse benefits and compensation given to their on roll employees only. For offroll employees there is no invitation or participation for inter company activities.I don't think so anybody should join Michelin on third payroll because your work' s value is nothing there as off roll.

No work life balance Work load One to One discussions are jokes, they listen to argue and not to understand There is a person from HR known as PDP ... they will be supporting the manager and so there will be less chance for an employee to raise concerns You can have career progression, if you know how to butter Management, else no matter how hard you work, you will be cornered

... ratio is 90%. To gt hike you need to get your NRP L having base package 12 lpa.BUT THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN and you will be stuck in same salary for years with 0 hike. Here comes twist manager can give 120% compa to their bootlickers and paid candidate from ANV infosysytem pune. This is utter nonsense in this company 8. Most of people work(Mangaers, N+1) here has side buisness running training institute named ANV Infosystem Pvt.Ltd,(Address 2nd Floor ,Mahalakshmi Complex,Dange Chowk Rd,Pune 411033) ,by manager from where he push his candidate to Michelin payroll with false degree and experience as freelancer. They ask the employee (interviewer) like us to select their paid candidates on 1st round even before interview else face consequences , He will dictate you to fill feedback sheet of his paid candidate as per his wish before sending to HR, and in 2nd round managerial round he select them so at the end you have to suffer to manage their work and if selected candidates get caught in BGV then he can easily pass the blame on 1st interviewer which is you. These people have special privileges of getting good hike and bonus as managers have cut in that. And MANAGER is real boss here, he can worsen your feedback , ratings and growth. Obviously he will help his paid candidates, so better join that academy Even if you manage to get selected in this org , then 6 months probation period is there , so manager and HR will give very bad feedback so that you are thrown with 1 month notice as per company policy. Lastly even if you survive these use to some dependency then they will give you NO hike saying that compensation ratio is 100% (here they have compa ratio which GOD only knows how they calculte with respect to market standard) but his bootlickes has compa ratio of 120% and you will be forced to work on multiple projects by N+1,+2 and his CGI counterparts offshore, even their french counterparts will be asked to disturb you mentally by calling you at midnight, sending escalation mail for silly things or asking updates at midnight etc. They have all receipe to make you feel frustrated and leave this company because as per policy if they terminate you they need to pay 6 months salary 9. Its not an IT company so no benefits of MNC here, only in paper. Medical Claim is a bluff here they never respond 10.Your Manager will suck your blood and force you to do his works in the name of growth. They behave like goons and will threat you in meeting room and HR also supports them. 11. You are working under Vandor manager (CGI 0r CG) but reporting manger is from Michelin who decides your growth. Unfortunately reporting manager never bothers to ask about your performance and gives good hike to those reporting to him directly brought by him from his Training Centre where they have paid hefty money to get this job. 12.Hybrid model sucks here, too much micromanagement on in and out for targeted employees not part of lobby. 9. Vendor (CGI) team works in 12:30 to 9:30 shift and gets daily shift allowance and cab from Michelin but Michelin employees are not allowed to work in these hrs in paper but in actual you have to work as reporting manager and other members are from CGI only. And you cannot claim any allowance for that. 13. you will find no annual hike as you are not bootlicker and due to so much of politics. 11.Salary is very less ,a fresher and 8 year experience has same salary 14. Developer has to do manual testing also as there is no or 1 tester only who is already overburden 15. Caste System and dominance of local(Only Pune Marathi) is at peak, welcome to era of British (black). Now if you are from Maharashtra other than Pune thinking that you are in safe as you know marathi then you are wrong, you are not part of lobby. Manager take too much interfere in your personal life in the name of building trust and his botlickers are there to do R&D in your address, spouse, children etc. in various social media like linkedin, insta,fb etcc... 16.HR is for name only, entire day their status is Don't disturb or on leave. They are active in ambitionbox and Glassdoor to counter any genuine negative feedback by giving lot of fake postive feedback. 17. There is so called PI planning which is joke in itself as if you raise questions on capacity your DM,SM and PO will make your life hell and ultimately you have to do that by extending working hours 18.Its a product based company on paper but in reality it is not even 10perc of service based. 19. TESTERS please donot join this company, you have to do work of entire project in 1.5 day, scrum master is useless here their job of maintaining scrum board is of tester, any issue in prod tester is culprit, lot of unnecessary regression from French people KEVIN SAGER brainless person asking to do all manually knows only Excel sheet in his career and tech debt testing all manual, no new skill to learn, there is automation team which is useless as they don't have any pressure to do in time .On top of that QA manager is most clueless person he don't even know which tester is in which project forget about other things because he has lot of hold in management and is a local goon .He along with others have multiple side business like training center, property dealer, marriage place owner etc.. all these are done from office . 20. Leave policy is worst here, you can't take leave more than 2 days, HR needs to involve and you know puppets(SP/HR) never speak against owner(Manager). So your leaves are only on paper and eventually get lapsed. On the other hand bootlickers, ANV Infosystem training centre backdoor employees and managers get all leaves and WFHs as they are part of lobby. 21.Onsite for 2 or 3 weeks is reserved for lobby people they go alternatively every month
