Michelin Deal Gives Grip To Ceat Share Price — Stock Accelerates To Life High
- Ceat Ltd. share price surged almost 9% to a fresh life high in early trade on Monday after announcing the acquisition of Camso's off-highway construction equipment tyre and tracks business from the Michelin Group for $225 million.
- The acquisition will enable Ceat to expand its product base, gain access to a global customer base, and increase its market share. Margins from this acquisition are expected to be higher than the current business.
