Flexible working hours, hybrid working model where there is flexibility too. Salary is decent too.

In my own experience, I've seen many employees being pushed by the higher authority to put down their papers, including myself. The best performing employees were let go during layoffs, including a female candidate as she came back from maternity 2 months ago. I was told by my manager that I won't be promoted as the business has been seeing profits because of my hard work. If they promote me, they won't have my substitute. When I told them that this role is not something I'll be doing for the rest of my life, my manager asked me to start finding options, like he was.

Compensation and Benefits are only likable here

Dislikes

Work culture is really terrible here, you have to seek permission and approvals for tiny things from manager which is really irritating. Does not have updated technology/tools - it completely manual work like a labour. work is totally related to copy, paste the content from fixed templates and errors are marked even if single dot is missing, once error marked you will be highlighted in front of all your team member in team meeting. Favoritism exist . Unnecessary Stretched shifts hours, Bad shift timings and No team support. Your work will be treated like your child which can be taken care by you only once you are back from leaves. Each and every single minute's capturing tool(Favourite people has it's password always.) So no learning, No worklife balance only Income is here.

Politics You are expected to work without a day off. Still no job security. Hire new guys during peak season to get more hands for cheaper, won't give you a full time position no matter how much you work Managers are sadistic

Likes

Tech team is very good and the senior team members are very supportive. You have free hand to suggest something new for the enhancement. Company policies like medical benefits and leave policies are good. You don't need to worry about job security because you will not be put in Performance Improvement Plan ever. It can't happen because tech team managers are very supportive they will guide you if you lack in something rather than complaining about you.

Salary compensations are not good. Their appraisal pattern is not good now as it used to be earlier. Management leaders are not capable enough to resolve the employee concerns.They don't take the responsibility of the thing going wrong but put the things on the parent company which is Mercer. Everything wrong happens with the employee in the name of Mercer policies and senior management staff blames the Mercer for this and don't do anything. Career growth used to be there but for now you have little chances of getting something new to learn. If you think about work life balance and you are an engineer then you'll definitely have good work life balance.
