The company as a startup has a great potential for growth in a place like Guwahati. The team is eager to take on new projects and is always on the lookout for opportunities. Work life balance is good for someone who is just starting out.

Dislikes

The compensation for the work done is underappreciated. in terms of career growth, people are stuck in one place and opportunities are very less.

Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
