Regressive HR policies like shutting down Cafeterias between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM every day in the name of boosting productivity. 8. No leave encashment, justified in the name of a scam called unlimited leaves. 9. Foul language considered a norm in day to day meetings even among leaders.

MakeMyTrip has great values and work culture where people acknowledge your potential, time commitment and quality of work. The product folks are quite experienced and smart, promoting one's growth and learning. Last but not the least, MakeMyTrip sets benchmark in terms of work life balance and employee benefits (such as unlimited leave policy)

Dislikes

The compensation is at par with the industry standards but can be made better in comparison to companies with similar business scale and reputation. The past work and quality of experience should also be accounted for (various purposes), instead of majorly focusing on work done and time spent at MakeMyTrip only.

Company culture, working profile, learning. Working for about 3 years and learn lot of things. Work ownership and respect for the work you have done. Work recognition. Solely responsible for your market growth. Good guidance from managers.

Dislikes

Appraisal and growth is not satisfied. If you work in any market and grow for them but instead of giving promotion or salary hike to you, they will prefer to hire someone from outside for a same position but on higher salary

Not recommend for senior role, work for a year or 2 then move on. Negotiate salary with HR properly more preference given to ppl in HO. Since its a delhi based company leadership and top level mgt looks at people from other regions as inferior. They comment on the way you dress and look. If you are joining as KAM role then pls never dream of geting a leadership role as well as team handling role you will never this opportunity.
