MAERSK is really great company to work with all the benefits. In my last company during third phase of COVID my salary was cut down 👎 though that company is one of the largest company of Media. Thanks to Maersk. I really recommend this employee friendly company.

To be honest, nothing is there in company to dislike.

The working is very staggered and the organisation structure keeps on changing. With change in organisation structure there is a requirement of lay offs and you are always on the edge. Team building activities are alien concept and the average age in the organisation is very high so not very happening.

Dislikes

The salary offered to me was changed just 10 days before joining with take it or leave it offer. Basically leaving me to face unemployment or accept the lowered offer.

Likes

Maersk gsc captive BPO. It always welcome PPL with extra skills and who are ambitious in their career. It has broken the myths like PPL who are well versed in communication can grow up the ladder. It not so with very good process skills and average and below average communication can take you until a lead level. However these things depends on your reporting manager and management as well

Dislikes

The compensation and hikes and promotions are very poor for the long tenured resources. And there is no concept of vacation leaves and other government holidays for users and it's exceptional only for leads and managers.

It's a well-known company that is respected in the business world. Focus on my professional goals and align them with the company. Good Communication skills and ability to work in teams. Good time -management skills.

Dislikes

Maersk employees rate the overall salary and benefits package 4.1/5 stars need to improve. Need to give more opportunities for the experience employees rather than taking employees from outside of company.

The Overall work culture of the company. To begin with the training is minimal. The expectations increase with time and too much pressure is given on the employees. There is little or no interference from the TL or the Managers as they have very little or no knowledge of the overall process. No Benchmark in the organization.
