Only few of my colleagues

Dislikes

The management, particularly HR and senior leaders, created a toxic environment through excessive micromanagement. Every action was scrutinized, and any minor deviation, such as simply turning your head, could lead to an immediate inquiry from higher-ups like the VP. This made the office atmosphere extremely stifling and stressful. The office itself was set up in a two-floor house, which was neither spacious nor comfortable. The setup felt claustrophobic, with no real room to breathe or work comfortably. It lacked the professional ambience you’d expect from a productive workplace. During my time there, I worked with two of the worst project managers, one of whom was particularly arrogant and difficult to deal with. The quality-checking team, rather than offering constructive feedback, often looked down on the work of others despite lacking expertise themselves. It was demotivating to deal with individuals who seemed unqualified to review work properly. There was no clear structure, no standard operating procedures (SOPs), and projects were irregular, making it hard to maintain any consistency. SME roles were frequently diluted with menial tasks like data entry, which felt like a misuse of skills and experience. To make matters worse, employees were often blamed for mistakes made by others long ago, leading to unnecessary confrontations in meetings and emails. Accountability was lacking, and this unfair treatment further added to the overall dysfunction of the organization.
