If you do end up in a good project, you will have more opportunities to learn. Before the merge, MIndtree had good work culture and benefits and appraisal, after the Merge with LTI, I literally had no hike for an year.

Projects are okay. Work culture is nice no one asks you to work overtime. Over-all it is a good company

Dislikes

Salary is average for freshers. Appraisals are not given as expected or on time after LTI and Mindtree merger.

...als Just keep waiting for the corporate to annouce when they will release hikes. Last 3times hike was delayed by 6 months and was no change in package at all for me.

If the project is good, then there is lot of things to learn and grow technically.

Dislikes

If your team is from another location, you end up sitting alone in the office. After the merger they are cost cutting everywhere, even though they are earning much. All the higher management are only promoting themselves and leaving the desired one behind.

Job Change or H1B?

Hi All, Need your suggestions / advice : Currently I am feeling stuck at Work place with low salary. I have 6+ years of experience with 10LPA. I am not happy with Salary after 6+ years in IT looking at Market standards. Also, I have H1B Visa which has validity of 3 years. Around 1 year is already down, and I am waiting for an opportunity in US. Management is telling to be patient and sooner or later will get an opportunity as I have active H1B visa. Should I look for jobs change here in India ? Or should I stay patient with low salary for now and wait for US opportunity?
