Extremely micromanaging upper management. Incomprehensible work hours only flexible as per employers needs. No real process for a planned appraisal. Liars who hide things from their employees, asking new hired employees and asking them to not tell about old employees what are the terms of hiring at all.

Frequent Development - Iteration Cycle which is expected in startups, still sometimes exhausting

Everything else. The CEO runs this outfit like a dollhouse. People are asked to work on frivolous things. There is no vision, no plan and no sales - been 5+ years and the company has yet to show any revenue. People are fired without warning or show cause and threatened by a head of engineering who is part-time. It's a joke.
