...nization is good for working but it has separate PD and production departments. Salary benefit is good though. .

Dislikes

Job is not really secure, promotion depends upon team to team not everyone with their experience and calibre got that opportunity. Senior team mostly have their favourites. You can't travel if you're merchandiser/sr. Merchant position often.

Working with Li Fung is good. Though the salary is little low as compare to other similar companies however the perks are better.

The performance bonus is paid based on the discretion of GM and not based on work or volume of business done... Moreover during the difficult times like during covid19, the people having business running were laid off without any extra compensation in spite of retaining the employees having less or nil business...the management is not looking at figures....Also the company is too much partial to the G2 grades employees..

... 19.. In Vietnam.. Administration li&fung decide not re new my contact work.. Im in Vietnam more then 6 months not job not salary. Suppose them bring back to China soon but there are not flights available.. I suggest them keep me work can reduce my salary 40 or 60 %,but unfortunately them not renew my contract . Im here try myself support my family.. Its terrible time for my family here.. Then help month cost visa and pay hotel. But its not at all I need for keep my family live.. Sorry I hope then take me back work

I had horrible experience , No one support juniors and the treated freshers like slave they don't even provide good salary acc to the work. They hire you as intern and then give work same as senior merchant I worked there for 12 hrs per day because of the work pressures. My senior was not supportive I worked under Manish Gupta team (SMM). I had very dad experience and it's effects my mental health also. I left Li&fung because of my senior behaviour. There is no job security. Senior have the power to change juniors any time or they made them to left the job, I worked there 2 time with different team but both were same. Infact other juniors was also facing same issues my batch of inters all left the job because of there dominant work culture. Career growth is very slow they put interns for 1.5 or 2 yrs after that they offer permanent job.

I didn't like there dominant and not so supportive work culture. Career Growth is dam slow and salary is too low as according to work. Interns have to report 3/4 senior at same time so there is no managment. Plus job security is also depends upon senior reports. I am very disappointed with li& fung I wasted my 1.5 year there and my serious was so rude.

Too much departmentation, slow decision making process, discriminatory appraisals, favoritism, nepotism, office politics, job is insecure for employees who do not indulge in favoritism and nepotism.
