New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. The company has no such policy to encourage and motivate it's employees, during covid they promised full salary and even after taking all the online classes and even after attending their forceful in house seminar and forcefully commenting and likes on their social media posts they didn't pay their employees. They payed only 40 percent and the director threatened the employes that if they don't like each and every post on Facebook the college will cut their salary

The director always threatened the employees to cut their salary if they don't like their Facebook post and don't comment on the same. Expert webinar was organised for students and the director threatened the employees to attend the same to increase the audience or else he will cut the salary .
