Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

No support. First of all they reduced salary upto 30% then started marking all employees 15 day leave without pay despite being present entire month. Now they have started terminating employees without assigning any reason.

Nothing as such.

Dislikes

The company is in the hands of few family relatives only. Salary was delayed some times. The manager used to come late and leave early whereas the staff was supposed to be on time and leave after the working hours only when the tasks are done. Compensation is not good. They don't even provide relieving letter and experience letter.
