L&T Construction have multiple Internal Company (IC). Few of them have regional Favours, mostly South which overall affect the culture of the company. It also affects the appraisal, promotions, increment for the rest of the employees.

Nothing Except Salary in Time

Working Culture as rightly said by Mr SNS CEO and MD You have to work 90 Hours in week . Worst Rating system 8/7/6/5 Very low reward from expectations. Rare work life balance . Mostly you have to work 8:30 am to 8 PM. Most of the managers will not approve your leave . No good facility for site people you have to travel 5 person in 4 seater Vehicle.

- Management favouritism - Site management politics impact on lower level employee's performance - Employee's performance evaluations system is not fair

It is good that the company will give good package and learning opportunity to all it's employes. I worked with L&T Saudi Arabia here I woked at site every day I need to work for almost 12 hours. There are two different employment types are there one is direct employs those who are recruited directly to that country and the second is deputed staff those are transferred from India, there contracts are completely different and there benifits also different. They will take care of there employs but the work life balance is very difficult here.

Dislikes

I am not able to give time to my family and friends, as the working timings are not good.

On time salary. Other than that nothing.

Dislikes

Frequent transfers, no recognition, Less salary compare to the market standard, no standard time for work, Work timing and alternate Saturday off were provided only office employees. Site employees working as a labor. Site employees even working on Sundays too without any benefits. Learn the things with lesser salary and switch the company within three years. Don't stay more than that.
