...eryone during their weekends and holidays, people steal each other's credit, bonuses and increments are received in July, made to work long hours and login in off days, but your productivity is counted for only half the things you do. Unrealistic targets are set. Work load is enough to keep you working 7 days. No Diwali/New year bonus. You work with toxic people and when you take a legitimate concern to supervisor(s), they don't take action unless it starts impacting them. You are not given work according to your skill set and the feedback you receive is never enough to guide you ahead.

Working in a Big4 has its perks and hence the highest rating in most places. The work life balance , the exposure to new tech and new clients and the salary and benefits are really appreciable.

Dislikes

However the only downside is if you are new to the organisation, promotions are not effective and there is a location bias when it comes to being selected for promotions. Be careful to negotiate for the designation while joining.

Travel to Anywhere no matters what is your base location and No compensation for Travelling expense max they will give 300 per day after multiple approvals 7. Join if you are fresher or no option and leave as soon as you get good offer and you have learnt enough skills. Join if you get designation of Associate Director or above(because they don't do any technical work). Join for hike and Brand name , then leave.

Too many processes and hr applications and trainning is terrible. Mediocre Work , even on latest tech there is repitative solutions. KPMG work culture will not work in 2023 and later. Incompetent managers and chatu(they will throw you under bus) Anything bad happens you are to blame(sole responsibility). Why there is hierarchy if everything is done by employee only, from client engament to delivery, its like working as a freelancer(Freelancers are now earning 3-4 lpa a month). Search on youtube why people leave Big 4.
