In the right departments, under the right boss, you can have good work life balance. Usually work is recognised without much showmanship and you'll get atleast a basic fair appraisal if not a good one.

Dislikes

Salaries and hikes are seriously low compared to competition. Because of this reason, they have high attrition yet they refuse to revise pay scales. Promotions and high appraisals are very hard to come by; work is not enough to get these, you have to be in the good books of upper management; who are usually not objective when judging work. A lot of favouritism is practiced. Top and middle management layer is very very lazy. All they do is attend meetings, and dispense ideas and work onto juniors, without giving a thought to the practicality of execution. It is left up to the junior working layer 'how' to do something. Management will only tell you 'what' is to be done. You will get no help or training in the 'how' part.

...e respect each one in our team also team appraises each one of us for our tasks. Salary and benefits are totally on negotiation with HR that i don't want to comment. But once you are in it is your work which gives you recognition, it is a pull based company where your seniors will try to lift you based on your work.

Till this point of time didn't faced any such problem.

There is great job security at Kotak. Even in pandemic they haven't fired any employee and gave timely salary.

Promotion to next level takes little extra time. If employee is very good then he should be promoted basis his performance and not as per standard process.

Likes

One can gain knowlege and exposure on good banking systems but process is very difficult. Apart from that nothing is advantage to work with kotak. Good bank for beginners.

Dislikes

...process is more important then why hectic business pressure...cant understand. Even for passing irda/amfi this bank is not paying any reimbursements where all banks pay for it bec the Register code is with the bank immun not individual.

Threatening every day Too much work pressure Conveyance not easy,in the hands of boss Every single hour you have to justify your salary No proper support from senior management in the form of needs for fulfilling duties Small company and daily even after joining 3 months you will start getting threatening from supervisor. Poorest leadership...Good for nothing
