I am part of Kotak Group since last 10 years and something is there within the Organization which makes you to stick around be it not so much hierarchy culture, down to earth approach and easy going etc.

It's a great place to work with such an experienced seniors who are always ready to guide. Good Opportunity for growth, work life is balanced but as in different companies at times situation is tough and that is when out skill gets refined.

Dislikes

Actually no dislikes just I am not getting a salary as expected. As I am handling entire West Region staying at Mumbai at only gettibg a package of 6 lakhs is actually tough.

Only positive part was a decent salary as a fresher.

Dislikes

First- pathetic work culture. Managers will abuse you to such an extent that you will end up resigning if you have dignity and self respect. Second - other than selling life insurance and general insurance you won't be getting any other work. As a fresher there is no learning even managers work was only to meet customers and sell life insurance. Third- no growth untill you achive unrealistic targets in a year then also you have to meet so many conditions to get promoted which is never gonna happen so you end up in the same position for atleast 2 or 3 years with mere 3-4% hike. Fourth - worst bank in terms of customer centric policies and approaches . Every customer only complains due to its pathetic products and customer service. Fifth- no work life balance . Manager will call you at night or make you sit on the office for not achieving stupid targets. Advice- As a fresher don't go to private banks especially kotak as they will only put you in sales and expect you to do the same amount of work which their 10+ yrs of experienced RMs doing.

Support and encouragement is and employees coordination and bonding with colleagues work culture is so good.

Not good salary hikes we have make buckets to managers who will put more bucket they will get good hikes ad promotions, Thier is no promotions for hardwork

...cpc branches, sitting capacity in branches very low . Number DST ALSO VERY LOW . DST salary also very low no increments for front line sales . and no promotions. Fully manual work with compared other banks and NBFC's. Even no festival holidays in month ends. Month end Sunday are working days.
