... thing is that Kohler gives opportunity to grow irrespective of the performance. Compensation is good and most of the managers are understanding. My personal life is very sorted and my professional life doesn’t eat into my personal life

The bad thing about promoting everyone irrespective of the performance is that a high performing employee might feel left out. The leadership also tolerate mediocrity to quite an extent, so it becomes difficult to learn when you are surrounded by incompetent people.
