The company deals with new technologies and flexibility of working from home.

Dislikes

Compensation is not good enough. The company pays for the time you stay but pressure is very high. Work culture is not suitable for the one who try to be longer in the corporate world. Not appreciated even worked hard to achieve desired work before timeline. And the most important thing, company relocates the employee to a domestic company for contract basis which is very disappointing.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
