Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Being a startup, it has grown drastically and its really fantastic to work with. The peers were mainly youth and thus i felt energised to work with team full of energetic people who were somehow near to my age. Company's culture is cool and owners of KIMIRICA i.e Mr. Rajat Jain and Mr. Mohit Jain have a great vision for the company. Best company to work in Indore, and yeah not to forget the products are way too awesome.

Dislikes

Sometimes not being aware of the reality makes it tough for the people to work. Focus and priorities shouldn't be changed if something new is about to begin. Cleansense would have been a great success for us in GT if proper nourishment would have been given to the brand. Rest is good.
