I have started my IT journey with this company. For the last 4 months, I've not been part of this company, but the overall experience was good. As I mentioned above Skill development was a major factor here.

Dislikes

Requirements gathering from client handling were not proper. E.g. the Company is building one product for the past 2 years (Before COVID) which should be delivered within a few months only but due to frequent requirements changes and instability product is still not deliverable. Also, each and every employee is important whether from peon to Manager. Respect should be given to everyone. Apart from this everything is good

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
