The KVs located in cities are overcrowded, teaching takes a backstage as there are many other jobs to perform. More importance is given on paperwork and presentation rather than quality teaching. Like all other Govt. instts. KVs also follow reservation policy in appointment and promotion of teachers which takes non deserving candidates to higher positions and often causes frustration among those from non reservation category.

Dislikes

No proper promotion with skills possessed.by the teacher. Only through one all - india test and personal interview all direct recruitment processes. No proper HRM modules are followed. Higher officials (from school Principal to Hqrs.) are over-burdened.

Contract based job Salary is not sufficient Govt staff is not interested in his work Nobody respects the boast that I am a government employee and you are a contract employee

Likes

I like to work in challenging atmosphere where different children came from different states and region. It's a great example of work in adversity. I love the atmospheric changes of the KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA provides to the staff and teachers.

Dislikes

There is no salary hike and promotions and no job security.

Teaching with all required activities and festival of different cultures are role play , overall development of students.

Dislikes

Salary is not fixed and duration also because holidays 's salary reduction and not job security for contractual teachers
