Compared to other Indian construction industries, KEC is paying a good and on-time salary. The HR team is very nice and cooperative.

Dislikes

The company's construction division is given in fist of 2-3 people. These guys are treating employees of KEC like their servants. One person is so much a scoundrel that he feels no fear in giving the threat of physical assault punishment to senior staff of the company.

Culture - No development and growth Age old leadership mindset of Business Heads and toxic in few BUs Long timers in middle management unwilling to change with fixed mindset and toxic in few BUs Indifference to overseas operations and employees Disconnected HR leaders driving their own agenda from ivory towers Way too much politics Worship individual in powers and anything is possible Too much centralization reducing speed of decision making and disempowering Frontline leadership across levels Leadership operates on perceptions and hearsay alone Values NEW HIRES from campuses disproportionately irrespective their caliber and looses them regularly despite as against experienced professionals

They hire from good colleges and waste the human resource, they do not allow for skill development even during the training period they force you to work for their benefits.Forced to work on sundays.

Appraisal process too much slower. Salary given to below manager level employee is too less compared with task provided. Performance bonus is just for namesake.

Timely salary, Guest house, house rent, Admission fees for children. Family insurance of 2.5laks(very less).

Dislikes

*No proper response from HR, HR will not give any kind of information if required says they are busy. *No holidays. *No Sundays. *Working more than 11hrs daily. *Worst Project managers leasons only they favorite Staff words. *Newly elected project manager have full of ego. *Working on Sundays.
