There is nothing to like about this firm.

...ch is to be done by the client and then client checks your work (reverse audit). Pay is also very less as retention money is deducted from salary. Do not make a mistake of joining their statutory audit division.

...lance. 3) Lot of office politics and favoritism. 4) No place to sit in office. 5) No variable pay. 6) Retention money is deducted from fixed salary. 7) Few managers, senior managers and associate directors who lack technical skills and focus only on unnecessary and irrelevant details. 8) Staff shortage at executive and intern level. So they treat a few assistant managers like interns during area allocation. 9) Notice period is of 3 months even during probation.

... managers work from home means work 24/7. No proper planning of staff and audit. Pay is very less and some portion of salary is retained by the firm which is not paid if you leave before the annual payment cycle. Certain seniors are not technically strong and only focus of unnecessary and immaterial details in audit. Out of pocket expenses are never reimbursed on time. Laptops are not that great. Audit software used by the firm is too slow and has many bugs. Think twice before you join them in statutory audit and consider other options as work pressure is equivalent to any BIG4 firm.

Dislikes

Lot of office politics. Old employees play a lot of politics with new joinees. Retention money is deducted from fixed pay. Few manager and above level employees lack adequate knowledge to conduct audit. No work life balance. If you sit till late and on public holidays you will be considered to be working. if you ask for one saturday or sunday off during peak season you will be asked to mark a leave. HR policies are also not constant. Clients are not that great. Pay is not comparable to industry standards. Think thrice before joining here and consider other options.
