  • Salary - Good

Dislikes

Extreme office politics. You are compelled to compete amongst your own teammates. No good projects. You just keep fixing issues in prod. Strict 5 days WFO. You come back home from office and then work again. The management is old school filled with micromanagers. No amount of mental well-being sessions are worth it and they're all complete BS if you ask your employees to travel to office everyday in traffic.

...g good bank in US. Yu will definite love the workstation and its all amenities. You will probably get much more salary as expected from outside. This needs to be discussed with HR and the hiring manager. Since partners and stack holders are directly working with you, it mat help better visibility for your career. Fresher and Interns are welcome for this firm as you will get to know so many stuffs.

Dislikes

The work culture is very bad. You need to work more than 10/12 hr daily. Even if you are in senior position you have to work hard. No work life balance. My recommendation is to join JPMC if you have experience between 1 to 6/7 years not more than that. Some of the managers are only process oriented then do not help in technical stuff. They want only results which is very bad in nature.

Salary Hikes and Bonuses are good. Not much work pressure if you know your work. Opportunities to get promoted are good based on work and tenure

Legacy Technology and legacy people. Existing folks don’t reskill but due to tenure they goes to bigger positions of leading the tech teams which is an issue. Big skill gap in the companies vision and the people hired that means they don’t know whom to hire for updating the bank with latest techs

Likes

Team - CCB Risk, Retail Model development team. Tenure -4 years (at the time of writing) Outstanding Work-life balance, regular training available to upskills, multiple domains to work with. Great for mobility within Risk Management in India. India's Leadership and Senior Management are always approachable and ready to listen to suggestions and provide feedback. Leadership in the US is also really helpful, knowledgeable, and appreciative of the work done in India.
