I do not have words to explain my overall experience in JA THE RESORT as everything was good, staff was helpfull, friends like kudzai, akila, akhil, amar ram, all were good.

My imidiate manager i will not say his name because I do not wanted to make any trouble for him, but due to him only I have to switch my department, I was capable and ambitious for food and beverage role, even I got a chance to showcase my skills, and I went to him to take his signature for inter-departmental transfer to JA LAKE VIEW hotel, but he didn't allow me., saying I am under-qualified for the role, I was having degree plus experience and I was doing almost everything where ever they put me, or what so ever task they given me, I worked as bar tender, roomservice associate, buffet restaurant, lounge, etc but let it be now just because of him now I'm nowhere. He just ruined my goal. Thank you that is all, its in my brain from long time.

few people are good !! Rest all are bad at my work place ., I don’t no at what basis staff are recruited here in JA !! And same goes for promotion criteria ? At what basis they are giving promotion , just because people worked for 3-4 years here with loyalty ?? Wether they have degree or not wether they have qualification or not but have experience in this property!! And higher management showed so many dreams before you join the property but when you have joined., nobody look after you ., in one of the meeting I told tht I wanted to work in bar and want to attend some kind of bar training ., they said we will arrange somthing but now it’s been 3-4 months nobody bother!! And salary it’s very less here ., the competitor hotels they are paying much to there staff with good service charge according to the occupancy but here even service charge is fixed that is also very less !! And who ever joined newly they have to wait for there probation period to be completed then the service charge will be given to the employees !! And in “HR “ our human resource they always said that they will help when ever there is any problem come to us., we will help you out but this is all fake when ever you are going ask for help they always bounce you back saying tht they can’t help due to the rules and regulations of the hotel, and here all the rules and regulations are different for different positions. There is two accommodations one is here near by the hotel and other one is in gardens !! For gardens tht is for managers and supervisors and for line associate here in “JAGRS” for JAGR employee there is limitations restrictions etc etc etc but for ppl lived there in gardens there is no rules , no limitations no restrictions some times it’s feel like Iam in “JAIL “ our managers keep on asking us that why people are Giveing resign or leaving this property ., although they knows about this but still they are reacting like they don’t no anything !! Then they blame us regarding the same .

Dislikes

No reimbursement of extra hours, restriction by the security in accomodation ,HR not cooperative.
