I was told to resign during first covid wave even though i was rated exceed expectations in previous 2 annual rating and was expecting a elevation in my responsibility. It was throughout told that i would be the next candidate to be elevated if there was a opening. And when the opportunity came they replaced a employee who was with Jana for 15 years and still at the role of zonal operations head. It was all influence which worked just because the management changed at middle level i.e my immediate manager and the business head who knew the way i had performed where no more in those positions to move me up the ladder. I when i asked the reason for asking me to resign, it was told that i was of high cost and they had issues with the way i work. When asked, how would a company rate me exceeds expectations of they did not like the way i used to work? The new reporting manager blamed it on senior zonal head and when i asked the senior zonal head he blamed it on new business head. The new business head and the HR were also involved in the entire process. I am not sure if the MD was aware about it, but the HR never bothered to even do a exit interview even though they knew the entire episode. I myself had written a mail to HR head, asking for reason but it was very conveniently passed on to the ZHR saying that he will get in touch with me and understand what had happened.
