Dislikes

Recently due to crisis and market competition, JMB's standard of compensation and promoting talented people have gone down. Since it was transition phase after spending more than 100 years in shipping field, JMB will surely overcome with challenges and maintained its legacy for which they are known for in the market...till then the above mentioned points are area of concern. Other drawbacks can be easily neglected considering the duration they are in this field compared to their consistency.

Team mates are good and helpful that makes to stay at jmb for while but career growth is very very poor, salary appraisal is very poor given only to one or two person who are very close to Dept. Head who interact with those one or two person only leaving others to their fate. Retrencment also done time to time on the pretext of costing in which sometimes new person also has to go. Last 5-6 yrs there is no specific work profile. New commers are taken for one profile but after some days given some iother work which they doesnt know then gives alegation "not working properly". All new commers after some days desperately Searches and leaves the company.

No career growth, very very poor salary, lotof politics, not given chances to work freely, only one or two persons are taken care who is closer to Dept. Head and the head also interacts with them only leaving others to their poor fate. As a result new guys joins and leaves the orgnisation within some month and sometimes within some days.

...ve the fact and than I was a part of a team. J.M. Baxi & Co. Job was proud fill. Very secure job, time to time salary increment and yearly bonus payment. Work environment was good and no politics found with staff and Management. Owners are too good.

The company is open to Innovation and readily adopt latest technology. I love the fact that i am part of Stolt team that markets reliable, high quality products and has a global client base. Another plus p[oint is that my colleagues come from various cultural background , and we are happily in collaboration.
