Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Salary hike is less Takes longer to get promotion for freshers even though did some recognisable work . (Takes 3-4 years ) 💀 No free food 😬

It's great. I've no issues here. I've been able to work remotely and we have been given multiple benefits to enable work from home. We've also been granted a lockdown fatigue leave.

Intel takes care of its employees better than many companies in industry. They have provided lot of benefits to employees to manage their work, health, wellness and family. During Covid time, Intel has been quite supportive throughout and provided support to set up working from home setup for efficiency and ergonomic health. The job security is good as company is stable.

Dislikes

...and I wouldn't recommend it a place for software engineers to make their career. The comparison of salary is with other silicon giants rather than software engineer for this profile which makes to compensation less than peers working at other companies.
