Despite of working beyond time and completing the work. The salary is deducted stating that u don't report on time. No understanding employer's/ partners. Too many reporting apps despite of all these not allowed to leave office according to office hours stating that need to work beyond time as there are due dates or work completion everyday. I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
