I loved working at Infosys as I always wanted to start my career at a reputed MNC. The salary was always credited by end of the month.

The salary was very poor and pathetic. I was getting basic salary of Rs 9000 along with other benefits. For a non technical, the basic salary should have been minimum 15k along with other benefits which was not so. The timings were too long. It was 9 hours and 15 minutes. The timings should have been 8 hours and 8 and half hours with flexibility.

Campus is good. Your life at Infosys could be defined by to which project you get allocated to.

  • Job security - Good

Dislikes

Only 20 leaves annually (5 per quarter, 4 per quarter if you're on probation). They are offering salary on basis of number of experience not with individual skills. Too many deductions in salary as per policy.

Work culture and policies. Good work life balance if you are in a good project.

No hikes for the past several years. Getting promotions or on site is extremely difficult. Even if you get a promotion, a major share of your hike will be allocated to performance bonus, which you would never get fully.

A lot actually, starting from HR analysis leading to skewed policy. To salary scale to quality of work. Basically they will be trapped in the typical IT service providers zone.. And nothing more if not corrected
