Need advice in choosing the company. I have an offer with TCS with 10% variable and another offer with ICE almost same CTC but 20% annual bonus. For ICE, the HR says that the company will be paying 100% of the 20% bonus annually and the only criteria for this bonus is I should be an employee of the company (not resigned/serving notice period while the bonus is paid out) unlike TCS which pays quarterly, and the bonus amount depends on various criteria like company's performance, unit performance, employee ratings, etc and it may not be 100%. Please advice me if I should trust the ICE hr and go with the offer. If someone working for ICE, Please let me know how this "Bonus" Concept works in ICE. Edit: 20% bonus mentioned is included in ctc. With 20% bonus included the ICE offer matches TCS offer,for exmpl if TCS is offering 100(90+10 variable)ICE is offer same(80+20 bonus) & this bonus will be paid without any deductions whre as in TCS 10 variable may vary depending on multiple factors

The learning opportunities in infosys are enormous.The buildings in infosys are attractive. The work culture is good. Good place for someone who needs work life balance.

Training period at Infosys was the best part where individuals get mapped to various technologies.

Job security - Excellent

Dislikes

Salary growth is not satisfactory and work load is very unbalanced and individuals end up getting mapped to projects which is against the will.

Infosys as a company is very good , if you are lucky and get in development that's good but there is a. Chance of falling in support and testing as the allocation is random.

Infosys was my first company, after switching 2 companies these are my observations. The work culture in Infosys is good compared to other Asian companies. The training Infosys provides for freshers is lot better compared to any other company.

Infosys employs a gruelling training process of about 5 months, which helps in building a strong foundation. However, more often than not, the project you are absorbed into is independent of the technology in which you have been trained. I love working as a part of a team, which really helps improve your interpersonal skills, and teaches you to how to deal with different people and different situations.
