Lower appraisals, start planning of not giving good appraisal from 2 months from the date of appraisal, like alloting less work, make you sit idle, and on dooms day (appraisal day) just a single question : Why should we keep you? candidate won't think about appraisal, now he thinks of his own existance. and to add a pinch of salt, they say show me what you have done some thing extra ordinarry in past 2 months.
