South Central Railway is a government organisation and recruitment is through UPSC for class A posts and through RRB for class C posts. Work and life balance is good.

Dislikes

Promotion prospects are very less. For skilled and unskilled employees,there is no distinction of salary and positions. More over who escape work are heros.

...the Organisation strictly follows the rule book and is generally not encouraged. This is good for those desirous of work-life balance and all facilities are available and salary is very good especially for white collared personnel.

Dislikes

As this is a Government Organisation, the monotony in the working system exists.New innovative ideas are not given credence due to various factors in the system.

One of the corrupt organisation in history of india. It looted common people and salary gives to the officers only who are posted junior there benefits go on vein.

...torious staff and made him dependent on railways job he have no way to leave it. Juniors are getting very low as officers got 5 to 20 fold salary of juniors but there work is very poor even cbs, CMI/CCI even write a letter to officers just copy it forward it the officers. Seniors only know how to exploit this junior employee by not giving proper rest leave holiday leave etc

Railway never compromise with the safety of passengers. Never compromise with SOP ,quality of materials & maintenance of equipment. Jobs security is good.

Dislikes

...e joined Sr. Sec. Engineer through out whole service remains as Sr.Sec.Engineer. Salary structure is bad.
