salary compensation is not at all as per industry standard, No insurance facility being hazardous work profile (Electricity utility), Promotion policy not being applied to the proper candidature, No rewards even after new implementation, Being a Technical utility co., Engineers are not being treated well even the other departments getting profit. Even were working everyday in core Covid-19 scenario, no special rewards received.

No any comments because I focus only my given job. I'm not interested in any polytics always in my carrier over25 plus years. I never belongs any group. IPCL is best, management is also very caring nature for employees.

Not much idea, appeared for an interveiw

The head of the compliance department is completely a fool. He is drawing a handsome package and thinks only he is liable to get that salary. others cant. I appeared for an intrvw thr for a senior role and right from the first line, that person was shouting at me, because of the fact that i had quoted a certain salary. He is too poor in maths and mis calculated my experinece in no. of yrs and aftr realizing that instead of appolozising, he told me its my fault that my CV is not framed properly. Only asked my one technical question, wch i answred better than he could. and he knew that too. He told me to serach job in mumbai or other states and not in this city. One can imagine the level of shamelessness that person belonging to same professional fraternity criticizing and demotivating in such manner. Infact this company has vacancy in this position almost every 6 months. so you can understand what a kind of person he is. Shame on such pple. Higher management, pl take note of.

Example of a PSU, which ended up in a loss making Babu/Lala company. Nice office campus. Nice staff. Canteen. No work pressure. Asansol is good profit making unit but Kolkata office full of politics by outsiders. They came for CTC only and left. IPCL run on Asansol's profit.

Dislikes

Only HR department consist 12 employees including highly paid managers for recruitment, KRA, Award, Training. They don't have any work except oiling their HOD. And the HOD of HR, Oh my god! He is a awful person from Odisha! He fighting with all employee's for nothing except MD. In MD's cabin he looks like Wet Cat. He jealous with Group President, he fighting with accounts head, he fighting with procurement, he fighting with project heads. Called "Suyorer Bac*ha" to a 30years served loyal, honest and eldest employee of DPSCL. The management done nothing against this filthy person, because the management didn't came out from their cabin. The HR head only preferred people who came from Odisha. By doing nothing, those people get got 10-12% hike. But, those employee's who gave their everything for IPCL, they got 2-4%. Don't join this company if you want to doom your career under a sinking ship.
