It's a women oriented organisation. The official timings suit them. Salary and incentives are good and are paid on time.

Dislikes

IDP is no different than any other organisations that promote toxicity. HR department cannot operate independently instead they are a puppet in the hands of the management. The Management including the top level people know what's wrong but prefer to turn a blind eye. They don't need hard working and honest employees. They prefer cunning, manipulative and disgusting people who indulge in dirty politics. Do not ever join the vadodara branch because the branch manager is skilled in playing politics and destroying careers of the employees.

I like about the leave policies and yearly variable pay which company offers that too they have filtered and brought many new policies which is bad

No promotion even after working for 3years Low hike No new stuffs to learn routine job And favourism with politics happens frequently

1) Any time meetings on teams 2) Because of others fault management hold responsible for you also 3) Any time changes in overall schedule so overall work gets impacted 4) For minor incident you have to do lots of documentation and email work.

Working hours are lesser compared to other companies. Immediate managers/assistant managers are kind and helpful.

...er go on for hours and they are nothing but a colossal waste of productive time. The higher level management really needs to listen and observe what goes on at the employees' level, pay more attention to the process and most importantly make the employees feel comfortable enough to express the issues related to the process and actually listen and understand instead of just waiting to answer or argue. Also, the incentive policies are never clear and they are different for employees from different branches and cities even though the company and the job profile are same (for example, the way incentives are rolled out in Delhi or Gurgaon is totally different from how it is done in Hyderabad for the same job). Not a single HR meeting gets held (usually in most companies they are held regularly at regular intervals) to address employee issues. There is a HR manager in the city branch just for namesake but you hardly even see him in the office. For every little issue, you need to contact the HR team in Gurgaon head office and they are too difficult to reach and it takes several days or at times weeks or months to get things resolved. Most importantly, most of the senior employees are cold and unfriendly to new hires and they make you feel unwelcome with their attitude (of course, there are very few exceptions who go out of their way to help you with your work). The mentors assigned to the new hires during the training hardly interact with them regularly and are engrossed in their own work without bothering to mentor even though they take long lunch breaks and regularly come late to office. Though the job itself is not really that hectic or stressful, those who join are made to feel insecure about their job during the initial few months which adds undue stress and pressure which shows up at work resulting in less efficiency and productivity.
