...es upon your business unit and project, but again if required it can be availed. Salary is good, on par with market standards and need not say that IBM provides amazing Work-life balance. Appraisals are relatively less but again it varies on your performance and Business Units. Overall, IBM is a nice company, especially when you want to learn and spend your early and mid-career over here.

Dislikes

We have virtual friends here :) There are projects/ Team where most of the people work from home - people take work from home for granted. At least they can make it mandatory to come to office twice or trice in a week. Last but not least, Tea is not free - but I guess, you can afford that :)

Varied exposure. Due to lack of budget management will get most of the high end task done by you thereby increasing the exposure.

...agement i worked with was not skilled and GA was managed by PTP and OTC leaders Bad pay - increments and perks are really bad Office politics - no value for work if you are good at dancing or singing or anchoring management might favour you. If you are good at work they will drill you. Management company - there is no HR so the rule of manager is final. I witnessed few harassment casses wherein a female employee was abused by manager and on her complaint there was no action. No promotions - there is no 18 or 24 month criteria. Even if you are top rater they at first will make false promises of promotion and later will reject your promotion. Self centered management - the management is so self centered they even jeopardize the careers of innocent. I witnessed few cases where people were asked to resign or else threatened to be given PIP. No formal documentation of roles and responsibilities also even sometimes they mislead org chart or hierarchy. Delayed FNF - management is unaware about FNF policy or relieving formalities which result in delay of FNF. My FNF is pending for more than 2 months and after several escalations i get no resolution. Micro management and pathetic work life balance with no wfh policy. I had to fight with management to allow my team to take 1 wfh a week.

...en you attain certain exp and post. In Concentrix skill development is best . When compare with both companies you get both things salary and skill development at same time.

No HR aligned to project so for some employees it’s disadvantage as you have to sort all your problem with people manager. But for me things are perfectly fine ..

...ibilities. Tools they use are pathetic and no connection between internal tools. Bonus and hikes are once in a blue moon and they have very good reasons not to pay people. They wastes money for un necessary things and they do not invest in people. Its a Garbage and no benefits are provided to employee. One of the worst company, please do not join
