The schedule is relaxed and no work leaks over into hours outside the office. No one micro manages you. Personal responsibility is the norm. IBM offers amazing online courses in most core technologies that you have free access to. IBM also allows you to take a professional industry certification every quarter, however your manager will need to nominate you for it. These certifications are viable in the industry. In terms of amenities provided there is a free cab service provided only for women between 7pm to 7am (ie for night shifts). Other amenities depend on which campus you are placed in. Do not fall for the trap of believing your work atmosphere will reflect what you see during your training.

...frame which is a very outdated system that usually runs for insurance companies. As far as I have seen growth opportunities are poor and so is the compensation, although you do have a bit of job security.

Provides work from home. There's opportunity to venture into any technology you would like as the company is huge.

Pay is very less. Absolutely no satisfaction with the pay. No promotion is given unless you ask for it. Growth is very slow. No facilities.

Medical insurance and other benefits are average. No cab facility for us . Most of team members reporting that they have less work life balance and additional working hours.

Job security - there are so many projects. If you are on bench then don't worry if you have skills.

There is nothing like annual/yearly appraisal. You can be on same package for 4 years no matter how hard you work. They will only point out for "out of the box like independently developed some AI toll or equivalent to it" thing and at this point you will loose the battle. If you are okay to get yearly 1-2% hike on overall package then only you should join
