Dislikes

...experience as there won't be any chance for you to get a project of your desire. Salary benefits and hikes are minimal. Forget about promotions, you can be in the same position even during your retirement. IBM is managed by managers and managers are managed by their loyal puppets.

Dislikes

Salary Hike is not good in IBM and Manager's Internal politics about salary increment and dumping average-performing employees instead of motivating and failing to provide the best work environment.

IBM has a lot of projects and it is a good chance to grow technically if someone wants to.

Dislikes

No hike I have seen here, there is no work-life balance in the projects I work on. People/Managers think working 12 hours is normal.

They considered me for H1b and filed my petition in 8 months after my joining

Dislikes

After receiving H1B they never approved my travel and you are forced to stay there for less salary. Don't take joining bonus, get maximum take home salary before joining. In percentage you will receive like 8-10 percent hike but in 3 years you will be less paid and have less knowledge as you work for some client.
